Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adriano Ribeiro kicked off to start the match. Zheng Chao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Obscurials's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Adriano Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 11 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adriano Ribeiro. Zheng Chao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Obscurials's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Luz Tejedor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zheng Chao quite easily take care of the ball. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. The throw-in from Fotis Kapiris in the 22nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. After having played for 23 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Adriano Ribeiro sent off a good shot on target. The Obscurials's Zheng Chao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zheng Chao was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Stig Sandström made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. A throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game was made by Fotis Kapiris with Adriano Ribeiro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Zheng Chao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emmanuel Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. Zheng Chao made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luz Tejedor in the 58th minute. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Obscurials's goalkeeper Zheng Chao, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, The Obscurials's Zheng Chao got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zheng Chao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. 85 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zheng Chao narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Rafael Gallo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Rafael Gallo sped through The Obscurials's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zheng Chao. When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than The Obscurials throughout the match.
