The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leonardo de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Dorival Alvarenga shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After taking down the ball on Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's corner Janusz Derlanga fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. If Dedê Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dorival Alvarenga in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Dorival Alvarenga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 20 minutes into the match, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but José Luis Heidemann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorival Alvarenga got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dorival Alvarenga's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Luis Heidemann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Leonardo de Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Leonardo de Lara scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 2-0. In the 32nd minute, Dorival Alvarenga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Dorival Alvarenga scored 4-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dorival Alvarenga to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Dorival Alvarenga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dorival Alvarenga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The supporters of Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedê Neiva in the 59th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorival Alvarenga in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Nilmar Brodel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorival Alvarenga in the 70th minute of the match. Dedê Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorival Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. When Dorival Alvarenga came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorival Alvarenga couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the game, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Dorival Alvarenga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 80th minute, Dedê Neiva made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo de Lara in the 86th minute of play. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF were the better team. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
