Iivo Mäkitalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Gustav Wästerberg made a huge save. When AC United's Otto Brask in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palloketut's goalie prevented a goal. Iivo Mäkitalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 played minutes Palloketut got a freekick which was hit by Aku Welling. Gustav Wästerberg made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Eevert Hati sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the game, Iivo Mäkitalo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gustav Wästerberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Iivo Mäkitalo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustav Wästerberg was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. The supporters of AC United booed when Palloketut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alpi Askolin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Michael Flinck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustav Wästerberg came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Palloketut's Iivo Mäkitalo. But to his dismay, Iivo Mäkitalo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iivo Mäkitalo to make the kick off. AC United's Gustav Wästerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iivo Mäkitalo in the 53rd minute of play. Aku Welling struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Gustav Wästerberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palloketut. A collision led to AC United getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Magne Lindell hit a great ball. Eskil Danielsson's late challenge caught a Palloketut's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eskil Danielsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute, Eskil Danielsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AC United's Gustav Wästerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iivo Mäkitalo in the 81st minute of play. In the 86th match minute, Palloketut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alpi Askolin to maneuver through the defense. When Palloketut's Iivo Mäkitalo in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AC United's goalie prevented a goal. Eevert Hati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustav Wästerberg having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Palloketut had played much better football throughout.
