The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Régis de Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Sosoco FC's Jerônimo de Salles got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 6 played minutes, UPTEXTIL.COM's Claudinei Botelho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Agostinho Antunes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UPTEXTIL.COM reached it. Diguinho Lucas struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Agostinho Antunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UPTEXTIL.COM. Maicon Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agostinho Antunes made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Davi Paraense sent off a good shot on target. Agostinho Antunes was a little too slow when Diguinho Lucas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. Maicon Veloso in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Agostinho Antunes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 20th minute, Davi Paraense made a precise shot to the right of Agostinho Antunes. Sosoco FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The supporters of UPTEXTIL.COM booed when Sosoco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 played minutes Sosoco FC got a freekick which was hit by Nando Furtado. After 27 played minutes UPTEXTIL.COM got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Tande. After some careless play in the Sosoco FC defense, Maicon Veloso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agostinho Antunes. The Sosoco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agostinho Antunes should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the game, Moisés Lopes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sosoco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UPTEXTIL.COM the free kick. Agostinho Antunes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Claudinei Botelho. After a rather tough play, Sosoco FC's Luiz Guilherme Zanette got a free kick in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diguinho Lucas in the 42nd minute of play forced Sosoco FC's goalkeeper Agostinho Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. UPTEXTIL.COM's Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Arruda in the 44th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Agostinho Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diguinho Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sosoco FC's goalkeeper Agostinho Antunes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sosoco FC's zone, Alberto Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agostinho Antunes came out of the goal and Alberto Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ediberto Marinho charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ediberto Marinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorian Linares in the 60th minute of the match. When Davi Paraense came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the UPTEXTIL.COM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Davi Paraense couldn't finish the play. Davi Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Agostinho Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of UPTEXTIL.COM booed when Sosoco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Diguinho Lucas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Agostinho Antunes was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Agostinho Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maicon Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Sosoco FC's Luís Guilherme Fernandes came free and shot a quick shot against goal 74 minutes in the game, fortunately Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho had problems saving as it came toward the left post. UPTEXTIL.COM's Diguinho Lucas got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diguinho Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maicon Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agostinho Antunes having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Sosoco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Davi Paraense came free, but Agostinho Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, UPTEXTIL.COM's Diguinho Lucas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agostinho Antunes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Agostinho Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diguinho Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
