The supporters of AC United booed when Talcampeón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liberto Henson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Talcampeón FC booed when AC United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Algot Bremming didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otto Brask fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rutenio Poveda having to interfere. A hard shot 16 in the game by Fritz Mattsson from a close distance when the talented Rutenio Poveda managed to make a qualified save. Talcampeón FC's players were relieved. Rutenio Poveda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otto Brask, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Talcampeón FC booed when AC United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magne Lindell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Erling Wennersten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otto Brask in the 30th minute of play forced Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Rutenio Poveda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AC United's Gustav Wästerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Francisco Maffey in the 32nd minute of play. After 38 minutes of play Talcampeón FC's Cosme Mella was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 38 played minutes Talcampeón FC got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Mella. 39 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Otto Brask came free, but Rutenio Poveda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If José Francisco Maffey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ofelio Bórquez in the 46th minute of play forced AC United's goalkeeper Gustav Wästerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 48 minutes of play, Talcampeón FC's José Francisco Maffey made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustav Wästerberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Francisco Maffey was the one to do the kick off. After 57 played minutes AC United got a freekick which was hit by Fritz Mattsson. Gustav Wästerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Francisco Maffey in the 58th minute of play. After 61 minutes, Bartolomé Rengifo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Talcampeón FC and the AC United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bartolomé Rengifo kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Fritz Mattsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, José Francisco Maffey fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gustav Wästerberg, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cornelio Marcou got free with Gustav Wästerberg in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute José Francisco Maffey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Wästerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustav Wästerberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacinto Cross went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Talcampeón FC's zone, Otto Brask stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rutenio Poveda came out of the goal and Otto Brask tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Francisco Maffey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Talcampeón FC booed when AC United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otto Brask didn't get a good kick on the ball. If José Francisco Maffey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 91st minute of the match Bartolomé Rengifo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bartolomé Rengifo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Talcampeón FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Bartolomé Rengifo hit a great ball. Rutenio Poveda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otto Brask, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Talcampeón FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
