AIF's Allan Thorsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Wallengren in the 12th minute of play. After 13 played minutes, AC United's Sven-Oskar Wallin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Allan Thorsberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AC United reached it. After 15 minutes of play, AC United's Eskil Danielsson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Allan Thorsberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Fritz Mattsson came free, but Allan Thorsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Bo Wallengren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Thorsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan Thorsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fritz Mattsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 36th minute, Eskil Danielsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Fritz Mattsson came free, but Allan Thorsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 61st minute, Fritz Mattsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Allan Thorsberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The supporters of AIF booed when AC United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Wallengren didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee gave AIF a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Viktor Molander, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AC United's Gustav Wästerberg. 1-4. A collision led to AIF getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Otto Hamberg hit a great ball. Allan Thorsberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bo Wallengren's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. A collision led to AIF getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Eskil Danielsson hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, AC United's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Alstedt came free, but Gustav Wästerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fritz Mattsson came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Allan Thorsberg could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Fritz Mattsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Allan Thorsberg however easily saved by the left post. 86 minutes into the match, AC United's Bo Wallengren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Allan Thorsberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Fritz Mattsson notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of AIF's Allan Thorsberg. Allan Thorsberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Calle Möller hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. In the 100th minute, AC United's Bo Wallengren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. When the match was over AC United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AIF throughout the match.
