The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Talcampeón FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Max Skräddare was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 21st match minute, Wetterqvist Boys BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Kalfhage to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosme Mella got free with Esbjörn Hellgren in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Esbjörn Hellgren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 31st minute, Ragnar Nord left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wetterqvist Boys BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Esbjörn Hellgren didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 36th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. In the 40th minute Bonifacio Lavanderos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Hellgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esbjörn Hellgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Lavanderos in the 41st minute of play. Talcampeón FC's Rutenio Poveda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Skräddare in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lars Hedlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Esbjörn Hellgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Cross in the 51st minute of the match. Rutenio Poveda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ragnar Nord, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Rutenio Poveda was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Alexander Malm capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alexander Malm really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. In the 63rd minute, Max Skräddare reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rutenio Poveda. The goal made the score 1-6. Wetterqvist Boys BK's Tony Andreasson suffered a sore thigh after 70 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Jacinto Cross fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talcampeón FC's protests and gave Jacinto Cross a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Talcampeón FC got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Cross. Ragnar Nord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wetterqvist Boys BK's Esbjörn Hellgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Saúl Oñederra in the 75th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dennis Kalfhage during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 78 played minutes Wetterqvist Boys BK got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Kalfhage. After 79 played minutes, Talcampeón FC's Ángel Soruco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Esbjörn Hellgren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Talcampeón FC reached it. The audience was convinced that José Francisco Maffey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esbjörn Hellgren was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Ragnar Nord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esbjörn Hellgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Mella in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Wetterqvist Boys BK's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Cross came free, but Esbjörn Hellgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Cross took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esbjörn Hellgren. Esbjörn Hellgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. A collision led to Talcampeón FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Cerilo Bustunzuria hit a great ball. If Max Skräddare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Talcampeón FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Wetterqvist Boys BK's performance. The match ended with a win for Wetterqvist Boys BK.
