After 3 played minutes Sosoco FC got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Senna. In the 5th minute Virgil Jupân shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Guilherme Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca booed when Sosoco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luís Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Olimpiu Fecioru fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's protests and gave Olimpiu Fecioru a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Olimpiu Fecioru got a free kick in the 7th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorian Linares got free with Vlad Covrig in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Guilherme Zanette didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olimpiu Fecioru went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 15 played minutes Sosoco FC got a freekick which was hit by Jerônimo de Salles. Luiz Guilherme Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olimpiu Fecioru, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Luiz Guilherme Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olimpiu Fecioru in the 20th minute of the match. Luiz Guilherme Zanette came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Virgil Jupân. But to his dismay, Virgil Jupân quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Sosoco FC's Amadeu Senna got his second yellow card of the match in the 26th minute. The referee ordered Amadeu Senna off the ground. After 26 played minutes Sosoco FC got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Senna. Luiz Guilherme Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Golo Phoenix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 minutes of play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Virgil Jupân made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Guilherme Zanette was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Golo Phoenix in the 37th minute of play forced Sosoco FC's goalkeeper Luiz Guilherme Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th match minute, Sosoco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Golo Phoenix notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Sosoco FC's Luiz Guilherme Zanette. Luiz Guilherme Zanette was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lúcio Mattos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sosoco FC's Luiz Guilherme Zanette proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Sosoco FC from getting a goal against them. In the 52nd match minute, Sosoco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Régis de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Luís Loureiro went to the cornerflag to take it. Golo Phoenix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Guilherme Zanette having to interfere. If Anselmo Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Guilherme Zanette didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olimpiu Fecioru went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute of the match, Virgil Jupân tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luiz Guilherme Zanette saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 96 minutes into the game, Strong Phoenix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sosoco FC the free kick. Strong Phoenix hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Sosoco FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
