A collision led to AIF getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Carl Ek hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, AIF's Fabian Kråk got a free kick in the 28th minute. Rutenio Poveda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaf Låsberg in the 32nd minute of play. If José Francisco Maffey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 38 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's Luciano Rosende broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Fabian Kråk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 minutes of play, AIF's Gustaf Låsberg made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rutenio Poveda was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacinto Cross stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tim Billing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Cross, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The supporters of Talcampeón FC booed when AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gert Kjellbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tim Billing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Rosende in the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, Ingmar Brask was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AIF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talcampeón FC the free kick. Ingmar Brask kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Gustaf Låsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd play minute Fabian Kråk came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rutenio Poveda. 2-2. José Francisco Maffey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Billing having to interfere. AIF's Tim Billing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Cross in the 90th minute of play. After 94 played minutes AIF got a freekick which was hit by Gustaf Låsberg. Talcampeón FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
