After a rather tough play, SAN LORENZO FC's Gerardo Gonza got a free kick in the 10th minute. A collision led to SAN LORENZO FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Clodoveo Corderro hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Jacinto Cross got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rutenio Poveda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Romeo in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Fabricio Tipi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rutenio Poveda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 37 minutes, Bernardo Romeo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAN LORENZO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Romeo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute Viviano Despouy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Romelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute of the match, Fabricio Tipi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rutenio Poveda was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacinto Cross was the one to do the kick off. Rutenio Poveda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Romeo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rutenio Poveda came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by SAN LORENZO FC's Fabricio Tipi. But to his dismay, Fabricio Tipi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. SAN LORENZO FC's Maximino Ofelio was substituted for Bernardo Romeo. Rutenio Poveda came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by SAN LORENZO FC's Maximino Ofelio. But to his dismay, Maximino Ofelio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The audience was convinced that Fabricio Tipi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rutenio Poveda was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the game, Walter Erviti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAN LORENZO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talcampeón FC the free kick. A collision led to SAN LORENZO FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Walter Erviti hit a great ball. Gerardo Romelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Cross, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, SAN LORENZO FC's Gerardo Romelio got control of the ball when Jacinto Cross tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute Maximino Ofelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rutenio Poveda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 played minutes SAN LORENZO FC got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Corderro. After some careless play in the SAN LORENZO FC defense, Viviano Despouy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerardo Romelio. The SAN LORENZO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerardo Romelio should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Fabricio Tipi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rutenio Poveda was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
