The audience thought a goal was coming when Algot Månsson got free with Rutenio Poveda in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 77 minutes, Ángel Soruco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Talcampeón FC and the AC United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee showed Otto Brask the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Talcampeón FC booed when AC United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otto Brask didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's Nestor Barria broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
