Herbert Good showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Mattos in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 3rd minute, Jerônimo de Salles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's goalkeeper Herbert Good, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A very good chance for a goal. 23 minutes into the match, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Daniel Jopek broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 25 minutes, Lúcio Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sosoco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lúcio Mattos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lúcio Mattos in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Good prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lúcio Mattos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herbert Good having to make a save. In the 30th minute, Lúcio Mattos made a precise shot to the right of Herbert Good. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 34th minute, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Bernd Heid ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Diamantino Ferraz. Diamantino Ferraz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After some careless play in the Sosoco FC defense, Ernst Cakir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diamantino Ferraz. The Sosoco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diamantino Ferraz should have stopped the shot. A collision led to ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Damian Brändle hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's zone, Dorian Linares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Good came out of the goal and Dorian Linares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With a little luck, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Herbert Good got control of the ball when Lúcio Mattos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lúcio Mattos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Herbert Good firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ralf Wipp hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's zone, Lúcio Mattos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Good came out of the goal and Lúcio Mattos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernst Cakir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernst Cakir scored 3-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diamantino Ferraz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ernst Cakir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's goalkeeper Herbert Good had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lúcio Mattos. If Luís Guilherme Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 played minutes Lúcio Mattos rounded ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-2. After some careless play in the ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ defense, Lúcio Mattos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herbert Good. The ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herbert Good should have stopped the shot. After 87 played minutes Sosoco FC got a freekick which was hit by Jerônimo de Salles. After 88 played minutes, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Pio Erne shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Diamantino Ferraz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ reached it. Diamantino Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Cakir in the 92nd minute of play. Jerônimo de Salles got his second yellow card in the match during the 95th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.
