The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca booed when mt93 Tarnów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacy Mitus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sorin Nicorici shot from long distance in the 9th minute, but Leon Armatys was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Golo Phoenix got free with Leon Armatys in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Virgil Jupân fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Armatys having to interfere. In the 15th minute Felix Mihăilescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Armatys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Mihăilescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Armatys read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca booed when mt93 Tarnów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mieszko Armatys didn't get a good kick on the ball. Golo Phoenix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Armatys having to interfere. Golo Phoenix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Leon Armatys made a huge save. Dacian Ghițescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lech Wolicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes, Lech Wolicki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the mt93 Tarnów and the PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Nistor Vermeşan got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute, Lucian Şimonca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 37 minutes of play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Nistor Vermeşan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leon Armatys was left in no man's land by his defense there! Virgil Jupân who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Leon Armatys when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 41st match minute, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Golo Phoenix to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lech Wolicki to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Golo Phoenix in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leon Armatys prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leon Armatys didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nistor Vermeşan went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Felix Mihăilescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Felix Mihăilescu notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of mt93 Tarnów's Leon Armatys. Leon Armatys was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Golo Phoenix in the 62nd minute of play forced mt93 Tarnów's goalkeeper Leon Armatys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Armatys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Mihăilescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. mt93 Tarnów's Leon Armatys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Golo Phoenix in the 65th minute of play. Leon Armatys stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Golo Phoenix's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Nistor Vermeşan kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. mt93 Tarnów's Leon Armatys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Golo Phoenix in the 80th minute of play. Leon Armatys came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Virgil Jupân. But to his dismay, Virgil Jupân quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When Jakub Arnista fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored mt93 Tarnów's protests and gave Jakub Arnista a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of mt93 Tarnów:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca:s goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Golo Phoenix in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Armatys saved mt93 Tarnów from getting behind. Beniamin Kensicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 98 minutes into the match, Felix Mihăilescu notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of mt93 Tarnów's Leon Armatys. Leon Armatys was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
