In the 16th minute, Börje Rudberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zendraget BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. A hard and well directed shot from Jerônimo de Salles led 22 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Zendraget BK's Kennet Benett became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-2. Zendraget BK's Börje Rudberg got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diamantino Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thor Nordin in the 28th minute of play. The Zendraget BK fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Zendraget BK's Börje Rudberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Zendraget BK's Kennet Benett got control of the ball when Jerônimo de Salles tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 38 minutes of play, Sosoco FC's Lúcio Mattos made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kennet Benett was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kennet Benett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sosoco FC's goalkeeper Diamantino Ferraz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.

In the 70th minute Luís Guilherme Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kennet Benett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vilgot Kjellkvist during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sosoco FC's Diamantino Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Frisck in the 90th minute of play. Diamantino Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börje Rudberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Dorian Linares's late challenge caught a Zendraget BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dorian Linares helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sosoco FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Dorian Linares hit a great ball. Diamantino Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börje Rudberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Sosoco FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
