Eliseu Alagoano started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Damasceno came free, but Cacá Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adhemar Pinho hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Elias Damasceno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 卡納里尼奧 FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cacá Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Damasceno, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18thth minute of the game Elias Damasceno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Cacá Sousa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 20th minute, Eliseu Alagoano made a precise shot to the right of Cacá Sousa. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 22nd minute Elias Damasceno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Adhemar Pinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Edgard Cearense fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's protests and gave Edgard Cearense a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Edgard Cearense got a free kick in the 26th minute. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Deivid Moreira came free and shot a quick shot against goal 31 minutes in the game, fortunately João Vítor Guimarães had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Francisco Queirós was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but João Vítor Guimarães in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sidnei Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. A collision led to 卡納里尼奧 FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Elias Damasceno hit a great ball. Cacá Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Damasceno, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Agostinho Guedes kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Perivaldo Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Perivaldo Figueiredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Vítor Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Agostinho Guedes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cacá Sousa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. 卡納里尼奧 FC were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Deivid Moreira to make the kick off. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Cacá Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Agostinho Guedes got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 64th minute, Perivaldo Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Eliseu Alagoano could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Cacá Sousa however easily saved by the left post. After some careless play in the 卡納里尼奧 FC defense, James Orange kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Vítor Guimarães. The 卡納里尼奧 FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Vítor Guimarães should have stopped the shot. 卡納里尼奧 FC's Armandinho Pombal was substituted for Régis Vides. 卡納里尼奧 FC made a substitution. Severino da Cunha replaced Sidnei Dionísio. The long shot by Amílton Marinho in the 78th minute really tested Cacá Sousa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aymerick Orange during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aymerick Orange to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Severino da Cunha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cacá Sousa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Cacá Sousa came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by 卡納里尼奧 FC's Elias Damasceno. But to his dismay, Elias Damasceno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Cacá Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Damasceno in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute Severino da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. 卡納里尼奧 FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
