Edvaldo Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jean Donato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Milan da Freguesia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Otávio Paraense. A collision led to Capivara FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ivo Furtado hit a great ball. Capivara FC's Ivo Furtado got his second yellow card of the match in the 34th minute. The referee ordered Ivo Furtado off the ground. Pedro Luís Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Domingues having to interfere. Milan da Freguesia F.C. made a substitution. Christian Monteiro replaced Juvenal de Queiroz. 63 minutes into the match, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s goalkeeper Jean Donato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Pereira. After 66 played minutes Capivara FC got a freekick which was hit by Edvaldo Leal. The tension between the Capivara FC and the Milan da Freguesia F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Capivara FC! Pedro Luís Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Capivara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dorival Viana came free, but Lúcio Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorival Viana struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Lúcio Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milan da Freguesia F.C.. When the referee blew the final whistle, Milan da Freguesia F.C. could leave the field as winners, despite Capivara FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
