Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dráuzio Paraíba kicked off to start the match. Francisco Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Meneses in the 3rd minute of the match. Oscar Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 7 played minutes, Palmares Futebol Clube's Andrézinho Alcântara shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leopoldo Cerezo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palmares Futebol Clube reached it. After a rather tough play, Palmares Futebol Clube's Haroldo Lopes got a free kick in the 13th minute. João Vítor Sena took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Cerezo. Leopoldo Cerezo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 29 minutes into the match, 100 Chance's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo Gonçalves came free, but Leopoldo Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 played minutes 100 Chance got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fábio Andrade. After some careless play in the 100 Chance defense, Geraldo Gonçalves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leopoldo Cerezo. The 100 Chance fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Cerezo should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Palmares Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Meneses came free, but Francisco Alagoano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Cerezo came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Palmares Futebol Clube's Geraldo Gonçalves. But to his dismay, Geraldo Gonçalves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 48 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Paraíba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 100 Chance's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmares Futebol Clube the free kick. Dráuzio Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Andrézinho Alcântara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 49th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leopoldo Cerezo. 100 Chance's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Francisco Alagoano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fábio Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Luisinho Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Naldo Marquez hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Palmares Futebol Clube's João Vítor Sena dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Palmares Futebol Clube's Ricardo Barreto suffered a fractured collar bone after 64 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Arnaldo Teixeira charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnaldo Teixeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Palmares Futebol Clube's Claudinei Loureiro was substituted for Ricardo Barreto. After recieving a nice pass, Palmares Futebol Clube's Luisinho Nogueira tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Palmares Futebol Clube's João Vítor Sena slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leopoldo Cerezo. That made the score 0-5 after 68 minutes of play. Palmares Futebol Clube's João Carlos Antunes was substituted for Haroldo Lopes. Palmares Futebol Clube's Thomás Maia was substituted for Luisinho Nogueira. A collision led to Palmares Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Thomás Maia hit a great ball. Leopoldo Cerezo was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Thomás Maia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thomás Maia really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Leopoldo Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomás Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Palmares Futebol Clube's Dário Moreira got a free kick in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Meneses in the 89th minute of play forced Palmares Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Francisco Alagoano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, João Carlos Antunes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leopoldo Cerezo. The goal made the score 0-7. The Palmares Futebol Clube supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Palmares Futebol Clube would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
