He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Leopoldo Cerezo. 100 Chance's Leopoldo Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar Montenegro in the 7th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélder Trigo got free with Leopoldo Cerezo in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ademar Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Leopoldo Cerezo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vascogoianiense FC. Márcio Medeiros hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Dráuzio Paraíba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Fábio Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, 100 Chance's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar Montenegro came free, but Leopoldo Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Filipe Meneses hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Dráuzio Paraíba managed to get in a good position for a shot. 100 Chance's supporters rose to their feet, but Dráuzio Paraíba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olavo Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Fábio Machado during the 45th minute. Vascogoianiense FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Filipe Meneses scored to the left of an out of position Olavo Fonseca, making the score, 1-1. Dráuzio Paraíba charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dráuzio Paraíba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arlindo Siqueira hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, 100 Chance's Dráuzio Paraíba ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olavo Fonseca. Olavo Fonseca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráuzio Paraíba in the 72nd minute of play forced Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Olavo Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 100 Chance would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
