The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Dé Paiva made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Mestre GG getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Dé Paiva hit a great ball. Adhemar Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Raúl de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cacá Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raúl de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Moreira in the 63rd minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Dé Paiva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cacá Sousa. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dé Paiva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Zeca Donatello hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 74 played minutes, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Francisco Queirós shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raúl de Amaral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ reached it. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Francisco Queirós shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 77th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Raúl de Amaral but with some difficulty. Adhemar Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raúl de Amaral having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilian Fonseca in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cacá Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's zone, Dé Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cacá Sousa came out of the goal and Dé Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeca Donatello during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Raúl de Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Deivid Moreira in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the game, João Francisco Mota was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mestre GG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ the free kick. João Francisco Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Adhemar Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, Mestre GG could leave the field as winners, despite Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ having more of the ball for most of the match.
