The supporters of Forever Young booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. After a rather tough play, Forever Young's Gandung Waringin got a free kick in the 16th minute. Novri Patha hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Aman Pintar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Forever Young's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aman Pintar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricky Khasali during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play forced Forever Young's goalkeeper Aman Pintar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Aman Pintar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Aman Pintar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aman Pintar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donnie Priatna got free with Julio Vera in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donnie Priatna was the one to do the kick off. Sam Rio hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aman Pintar saved Forever Young from getting behind. Aman Pintar made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Forever Young made a substitution. Sunar Auri replaced Sam Rio. 63 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Donnie Priatna came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Forever Young's Donnie Priatna shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
