Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Paraguay's Jaime Pardo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Pardo. After 5th play minutes Jaime Pardo shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Matei Rotariu and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 8thth minute of the game Panait Unciuleanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matei Rotariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matei Rotariu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Pardo's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Panait Unciuleanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Panait Unciuleanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Irinel Răuțchi hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Steaua Somcuta MM's Leontin Zdrehuş got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Jaime Pardo's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Matei Rotariu on his right side and into the goal. 24 minutes into the game it was 0-2. In the 31st match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Iordache Pârvuță, made in the 37th minute of the game. Matei Rotariu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hector Covarrubias went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when George Pitiș stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iacob Prisecaru hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Jaime Pardo struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Matei Rotariu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Hector Covarrubias hit a great ball. After 56 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Hector Covarrubias. In the 57th match minute, Steaua Somcuta MM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leontin Zdrehuş to maneuver through the defense. Matei Rotariu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaime Pardo went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panait Unciuleanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo managed to work through Steaua Somcuta MM's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jaime Pardo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Hector Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panait Unciuleanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xavier Zoido was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 84th minute. Paraguay's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With his leg Matei Rotariu managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Paraguay's Jaime Pardo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 89 played minutes Steaua Somcuta MM got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Ţopescu. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Matei Rotariu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Pardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Matei Rotariu made a huge save. When the match was over Paraguay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Steaua Somcuta MM throughout the match.
