Pedro Manzanares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nojus Bikas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Kristupas Šimkūnas charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kristupas Šimkūnas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kings getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Kristupas Šimkūnas hit a great ball. Edgaras Jankauskas kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If Kevin Mastache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nojus Bikas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haşim Batüralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 20th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nojus Bikas, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Nojus Bikas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Manzanares. The goal made the score 2-0. Nojus Bikas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kings's zone, Axel Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haşim Batüralp came out of the goal and Axel Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nojus Bikas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Colombia booed when Kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Marko didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Abram Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Haşim Batüralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nojus Bikas in the 55th minute of the match. Haşim Batüralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Kings made a substitution. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 96th minute of play forced Kings's goalkeeper Haşim Batüralp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Victorino Marko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kings's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Marko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
