Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vedat Burçhan in the 19th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Montay got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Vedat Burçhan made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Vedat Burçhan sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 88 minutes into the match, Vedat Burçhan notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Montay in the 93rd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Campus Douro Academy fully deserved thier win.
