Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Enrico Tassotti kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Gonzo Style f.c got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Pagliarini. Gonzo Style f.c's Lucas Savenije played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute of play. Lucas Savenije took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Felix Montenegro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lucas Savenije quite easily take care of the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Tassotti in the 15th minute of the match. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuele Bertoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 22nd minute of play forced Gonzo Style f.c's goalkeeper Lucas Savenije to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Savenije showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Damiano Mian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Alvise Pezzi kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Dennis Pagliarini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ennio Fino's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ennio Fino helped the player get up and apologised. 47 minutes into the game, one of Gonzo Style f.c:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Daniel Zorita placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Enrico Tassotti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute Enrico Tassotti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Enrico Tassotti came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Gonzo Style f.c fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrico Tassotti couldn't finish the play. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Gonzo Style f.c booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 played minutes Gonzo Style f.c got a freekick which was hit by Cesare Natalin. Gonzo Style f.c's Lucas Savenije proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Gonzo Style f.c from getting a goal against them. Lucas Savenije was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 86 minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lucas Savenije. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The Gonzo Style f.c fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
