Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. Emanuel Barbu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Emanuel Barbu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, FC Szczucin's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Iwan Swoboda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iwan Swoboda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Szczucin's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iwan Swoboda came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Barbu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Emanuel Barbu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emanuel Barbu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Iwan Swoboda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 37 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 40 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Szczucin's Emanuel Barbu. But to his dismay, Emanuel Barbu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After a rather tough play, FC Szczucin's Alfredo Rey got a free kick in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Barbu in the 54th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Barbu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 79 minutes of play, FC Szczucin's Emanuel Barbu made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iwan Swoboda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuel Barbu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Salvador Gisbert charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvador Gisbert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th minute, Salvador Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Szczucin made a substitution. Bernard Dembowski replaced Emanuel Barbu. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Szczucin fully deserved thier win.
