In the 17thth minute of the game Osvaldinho Messias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cassius Byrne made a kick off. USA were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Juventus PTM's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. Jacob May made a great header on USA's corner, it was just that Juventus PTM's Armando Gazza managed to reach the ball for a save. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldinho Messias in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Baker in the 93rd minute of play forced Juventus PTM's goalkeeper Armando Gazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Honcioiu came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juventus PTM succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though USA had controlled the match.
