Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. When Primitivo Andino fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Primitivo Andino a yellow card for diving instead. 5 minutes into the game, one of Ecuador:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 8 minutes into the match, Stevnstrup's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Benni Skovhus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Nico-Pascal Kapteina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benni Skovhus having to make a save. Benni Skovhus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nico-Pascal Kapteina in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute of the match, Nico-Pascal Kapteina tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 43 minutes, Arthur Kiel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stevnstrup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arthur Kiel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benni Skovhus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustín Saelices's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nico-Pascal Kapteina to strike the kick off in the second half. Stevnstrup's Benni Skovhus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 50th minute of the match, managed to save Stevnstrup from getting a goal against them. 52 minutes in the game, Daniel Zorita fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Benni Skovhus having to interfere. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Benni Skovhus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Kiel in the 66th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Arthur Kiel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. If Arthur Kiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eli Loskov hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 78th minute, but Benni Skovhus got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Stevnstrup hanging dry this time. After 79 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico-Pascal Kapteina in the 89th minute of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
