Asbjørn Sundal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 11th minute of the match. Asbjørn Sundal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute, Rune Rolfsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a free kick in the 20th minute. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Rune Rolfsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Dante Lacasa however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 33rd minute of play forced Ofspor's goalkeeper Asbjørn Sundal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

52 minutes into the match, Ofspor's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Asbjørn Sundal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Luca Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Asbjørn Sundal. Ofspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Selman Özinal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ofspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Selman Özinal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute, Alberto Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Ofspor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Alberto Tafalla scored to the left of an out of position Asbjørn Sundal, making the score, 1-3. 91 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Rolfsson came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico played a much better game than Ofspor and deserved their victory. The Ofspor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
