Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roni Coryn started the match with the kick off. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Bob Leerbels sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Bacardi FC's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roni Coryn, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leo Dauwen. Leo Dauwen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Bob Leerbels tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leo Dauwen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Bob Leerbels had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bob Leerbels was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 26thth minute of the game Roni Coryn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 29th minute of play forced Bacardi FC's goalkeeper Leo Dauwen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Bacardi FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoud Van Gestel, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leo Dauwen. Leo Dauwen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bob Leerbels in the 43rd minute. Leo Dauwen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Facundo Cadaval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roni Coryn in the 46th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Bacardi FC's Leo Dauwen. Leo Dauwen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 54th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Dauwen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Luca Zorita managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The Mexico fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 64 minutes into the match, Bacardi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Leo Dauwen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Dauwen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 played minutes Joel Gaona rounded Bacardi FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-5. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoud Van Gestel in the 74th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Dauwen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Roni Coryn came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Bacardi FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Gaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bacardi FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Alberto Tafalla scored to the left of an out of position Leo Dauwen, making the score, 1-6. In the 90th minute, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leo Dauwen. Leo Dauwen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. After 96 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leo Dauwen was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
