Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ettore Varglien got free with Dante Lacasa in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, PICCOLE PESTI's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Miguel Orlondon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. PICCOLE PESTI were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Donato Dossena took the corner. Secondo Arshavin kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ettore Varglien went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 32nd match minute, PICCOLE PESTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Secondo Arshavin to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 33rd minute of play forced PICCOLE PESTI's goalkeeper Miguel Orlondon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ettore Varglien might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ettore Varglien ran back to his position shaking his head. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ettore Varglien in the 35th minute of the match. Bernardino Vedillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Luca Rouco kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 54 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Tafalla. Miguel Orlondon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Miguel Orlondon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 62nd minute. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Joel Gaona took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Miguel Orlondon to make any attempt to save it. 71 minutes into the match, PICCOLE PESTI's goalkeeper Miguel Orlondon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Orlondon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Miguel Orlondon. PICCOLE PESTI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Facundo Cadaval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Miguel Orlondon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardino Vedillo in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 96th minute PICCOLE PESTI were awarded a corner. Donato Dossena went to the cornerflag to take it. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
