The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Camilo Gisbert made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by The Wolfpack™'s Gennaro Carabajal. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Todor Barakovski hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The Wolfpack™'s Radu Siteavu was substituted for Alfredo Orlin. Karol Walat kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. When Todor Barakovski fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Wolfpack™'s protests and gave Todor Barakovski a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibúrcio Carabajal having to interfere. Karol Walat's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karol Walat helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes The Wolfpack™ got a freekick which was hit by Karol Walat. The Wolfpack™'s attentive Cadwaladr Carabajal managed to snatch the ball when Camilo Gisbert made a throw-in in the 94th minute of the game. The supporters of Ecuador booed when The Wolfpack™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radu Siteavu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
