Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ola Håkansson in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Håkansson in the 16th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edgar Albohm who took care of the corner kick. Woopbongo's Edgar Albohm was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ola Håkansson in the 21st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Ola Håkansson put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 29th minute of play forced Woopbongo's goalkeeper Valter Wallgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Ola Håkansson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ola Håkansson really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Håkansson in the 36th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Woopbongo's Ola Håkansson in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. The Woopbongo fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Woopbongo's Ola Håkansson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 45 played minutes Woopbongo got a freekick which was hit by You Qing Wen. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ola Håkansson was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valter Wallgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute, Ola Håkansson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. Ola Håkansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Ola Håkansson made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ola Håkansson went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89thth minute of the game Ola Håkansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mats Gerdberg charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mats Gerdberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, Mats Gerdberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Woopbongo were the better team. Woopbongo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
