The referee ignored Valla Fc's protests and gave Tor-Ivar Kalland a yellow card for diving instead. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Fata couldn't finish the play. Antoine Lovera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Franco in the 44th minute of play. Valla Fc's Antoine Lovera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 45th minute of play. With a little luck, Valla Fc's Antoine Lovera got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoine Lovera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
