In the 69th minute Miroslav Pernický shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miroslav Pernický's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Jiří Lupač who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiří Lupač, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FK Řitka made a substitution. Vladimír Svatý replaced Fred Davus. FK Řitka were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vladimír Svatý took the corner. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
