Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xavion Chavarri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Kurdwanów FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Xavion Chavarri quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Witold Majerowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Kurdwanów FC's Xavion Chavarri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of play forced Kurdwanów FC's goalkeeper Xavion Chavarri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 36th minute of play forced Kurdwanów FC's goalkeeper Xavion Chavarri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Kurdwanów FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Xavion Chavarri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldemar Karanowski's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After 44 minutes Kurdwanów FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Xavion Chavarri in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Piotr Rybak struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kurdwanów FC. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Piotr Rybak made the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute Zachariasz Sniegowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Karanowski in the 60th minute of the match. In the 66th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachariasz Sniegowski in the 67th minute of play. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Piotr Rybak took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 71st minute. After 72 played minutes, Kurdwanów FC's Piotr Rybak shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kurdwanów FC reached it. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Xavion Chavarri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 75th minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Karanowski in the 77th minute of play. After 90 minutes, Barnaba Bochinski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kurdwanów FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Kurdwanów FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barnaba Bochinski to maneuver through the defense.
