The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. In the 8th minute 洪益雄 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 龙辰烽 kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 13 played minutes 【№1】轻轻的我进了 got a freekick which was hit by 龙辰烽. In the 14th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. 吴烨文 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 吴烨文 having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 巩朗响 during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when 【№1】轻轻的我进了 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. 巩朗响 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 庄竞珂 made a kick off. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 吴烨文 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 65 minutes into the match, 【№1】轻轻的我进了's goalkeeper 吴烨文 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. 龙辰烽's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 龙辰烽 helped the player get up and apologised. 68 minutes into the match, 【№1】轻轻的我进了's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but 吴烨文 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
