An unexpectedly hard shot by Willem Rinert in the 18th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Antonio Adán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Adán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Gerber in the 19th minute of the match. Ämmer Sportfreaks's Napoleon Moczkiewicz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Antonio Adán in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Willem Rinert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antonio Adán was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. The wind increased when Gutierre Lauri made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quintino Carvalhais got free with Fergus Maina in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antonio Adán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gutierre Lauri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th match minute, SC Braga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charl De Metser to maneuver through the defense.
