Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But to his dismay, Kazimierz Birkenhagen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Du showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The NDVX fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when NDVX's Kazimierz Birkenhagen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Kazimierz Birkenhagen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Kazimierz Birkenhagen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Du 64 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Du in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Du made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 70th minute. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind NDVX's goalkeeper Du, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Du was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 82 minute of play. In the 86th minute Carlos Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Du read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. With a little luck, NDVX's Du got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
