Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mugurel Stanciu got the match started through his kick off. After 6 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olimpiu Zdrelea who took care of the corner kick. Valer Baltian kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisc Buteanu in the 12th minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when F.C Petru B.U.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olimpiu Zdrelea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, F.C Petru B.U.C's Olimpiu Zdrelea got a free kick in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 16th minute. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucian Popeneciu. Lucian Popeneciu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lucian Popeneciu quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucian Popeneciu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olimpiu Zdrelea kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucian Popeneciu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucian Popeneciu saved F.C Petru B.U.C from getting behind. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to F.C Petru B.U.C getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Olimpiu Zdrelea hit a great ball. After 34 played minutes F.C Petru B.U.C got a freekick which was hit by Pankracy Adamowicz. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucian Popeneciu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Cristi Sabău sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ecuador booed when F.C Petru B.U.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisc Buteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Horia Vuia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristi Sabău, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. F.C Petru B.U.C's Lucian Popeneciu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save F.C Petru B.U.C from getting a goal against them. 60 minutes into the match, F.C Petru B.U.C's goalkeeper Lucian Popeneciu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. The supporters of F.C Petru B.U.C booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Lucian Popeneciu made a huge save. In the 66th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 67th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucian Popeneciu having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lucian Popeneciu came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 76th minute. Lucian Popeneciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 79th minute of the match. Lucian Popeneciu made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Olimpiu Zdrelea hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucian Popeneciu. F.C Petru B.U.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lucian Popeneciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 87th minute of the match. Cristi Sabău scored 1-4 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cristi Sabău came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than F.C Petru B.U.C throughout the match.
