An unexpectedly hard shot by Ede Szász in the 16th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 17th minute of play forced STORM CORNER F.C.'s goalkeeper Kaan Winter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Ede Szász cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Mexico booed when STORM CORNER F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Pacifico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ede Szász. Ede Szász's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Krisztián Lisztes came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kaan Winter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ede Szász in the 55th minute of the match. STORM CORNER F.C. were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cesare Silvestre took the corner. The corner led STORM CORNER F.C.'s Cesare Silvestre to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 60th minute of play forced STORM CORNER F.C.'s goalkeeper Kaan Winter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ede Szász struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for STORM CORNER F.C.. If Reinhold Artmaier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaan Winter came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 84 minutes into the game, Zoltán Vásárhelyi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. STORM CORNER F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. In the 84th match minute, STORM CORNER F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zoltán Vásárhelyi to maneuver through the defense. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
