Alan Moruga charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Cerebral FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Noboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 minutes of play, Cerebral FC's Tamás Markovits made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 30 minutes, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Tasis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Márton Mester sent off a good shot on target. After 37 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Benjámin Rákosi scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 3-0. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjámin Rákosi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cerebral FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
