In the 21st match minute, Juniors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Torres to maneuver through the defense. Juniors FC's Lucas Ixaka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 23rd minute of play forced Juniors FC's goalkeeper Lucas Ixaka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Abraham Alguacil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Ixaka. Juniors FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abraham Alguacil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 38th minute, Tomas Berganza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Tomas Berganza scored 0-7 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucas Ixaka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Panama's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
