Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Florin Ciuvică kicked off to start the match. After 5 played minutes ABK Black Warriors73 got a freekick which was hit by Alex Lera. In the 5th minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Baciadonne showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, ABK Black Warriors73's Florin Ciuvică nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, ABK Black Warriors73's Octav Păstrăv got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 22nd minute Florin Ciuvică shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Valeriu Zoreanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Arias was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 27 minutes into the match. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecuador! Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihnea Gârleanu in the 35th minute of play. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

ABK Black Warriors73's Florin Ciuvică got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mihnea Gârleanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, ABK Black Warriors73's goalkeeper Angelo Baciadonne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Angelo Baciadonne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 62nd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Luis Andino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Angelo Baciadonne quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florin Ciuvică in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelo Baciadonne narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Ciuvică in the 86th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
