Eduardo Fontirroig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amarante Gibert took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Fernandino in the 22nd minute of play forced Junta De Los Rios CF's goalkeeper Pancracio España to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bolivia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Camilo Freixa, was totally fooled by Junta De Los Rios CF's Amarante Gibert, who 25 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Damian Carballeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Junta De Los Rios CF's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Fontirroig came free, but Pancracio España reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, Junta De Los Rios CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Txomin Saavedra to maneuver through the defense. Pancracio España didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eduardo Fontirroig went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amarante Gibert in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dimas Cuervas. Anastasio Candamil hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Eduardo Fontirroig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 57 minutes, Eduardo Fontirroig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolivia and the Junta De Los Rios CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Fontirroig. The Junta De Los Rios CF fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Junta De Los Rios CF's Amarante Gibert looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Junta De Los Rios CF booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Gallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Dimas Cuervas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Junta De Los Rios CF's Amarante Gibert got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Airas Borrás hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Amarante Gibert put it in 8-1 from a short distance just to the right of Camilo Freixa. The audience was convinced that Amarante Gibert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Freixa was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Junta De Los Rios CF had won after a very even match.
