The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Guo Ming managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pedro Manzanares was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Loco Martin. Holger Siöberg had several of the Colombia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 11 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Pedro Manzanares as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Joshua Garrido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pinhote FC's Joacim First played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Axel Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Joacim First. Pinhote FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Holger Siöberg sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. David Blaine charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Blaine the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes Pinhote FC got a freekick which was hit by David Blaine. Axel Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Joacim First tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Sílvio Luís Ceresso could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Pedro Manzanares however easily saved by the left post. In the 39th minute of the game Guo Ming made a throw-in which Waldemar Rosen played forward. After having played for 39 minutes, Holger Siöberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Holger Siöberg was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's Guo Ming sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 52nd minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joacim First saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Guo Ming ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Axel Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joacim First having to interfere. After 62 minutes of play, Pinhote FC's Guo Ming made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guo Ming went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. If Guo Ming had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Holger Siöberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinhote FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Holger Siöberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 79 minutes into the match, Guo Ming notched a goal, 6-3, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Joacim First threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abram Secada, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Joacim First made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pascual Carballar in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Kevin Mastache went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 91st minute, Guo Ming ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-3. Pinhote FC's Joacim First played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Secada in the 94th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pinhote FC fully deserved thier win.
