With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mihail Tomozei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, Moises Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mihail Tomozei. F.C.BARLAD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mihail Tomozei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 24th minute of the match. Edmundo Espiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mihail Tomozei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Honduras's Moises Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mihail Tomozei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Cazimir Stănciulaş in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. The supporters of F.C.BARLAD booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mihail Tomozei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 41st minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maxim Cara made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Edmundo Espiga rounded F.C.BARLAD's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. Ivan Navarro made in the 59th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Sebastian Villa however managed to control. In the 65th minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mihail Tomozei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maxim Cara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mihail Tomozei was a little too slow when Edmundo Espiga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 0-4. Edmundo Espiga in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mihail Tomozei, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cazimir Stănciulaş during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 played minutes F.C.BARLAD got a freekick which was hit by Cazimir Stănciulaş. Moises Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. It was beautiful to see Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in action when he in the 87th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Edmundo Espiga put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Mihail Tomozei. When the match was over Honduras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than F.C.BARLAD throughout the match.
