When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferdinant Velez made a kick off. Haiti's Rodney Emmanuel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dennis Pander in the 58 minute of the game. Ferdinant Velez scored 4-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Noel Seide, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferdinant Velez in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Noel Seide prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jonathan Alphonse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute Wilfred Tollenaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mitchell Terpstra kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Jonathan Alphonse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bram de Backer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. De Ontembare Leeuwen walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
