Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hadi Pektaşi in the 29th minute of play. Mustafa Emre Bucuklu hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Oğuzer Altınpınar made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Dejavu's goalkeeper Batıkan Satı had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. If Oğuzer Altınpınar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Oğuzer Altınpınar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oğuzer Altınpınar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Dejavu players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
