Magne Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafail Rusev in the 6th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Guillaume Chaine came free, but Magne Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Guillaume Chaine had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Magne Gunnarsson. Rönnöfors FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guillaume Chaine was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Bertil Hellgren hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson got control of the ball when Rafail Rusev tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Fagerberg in the 18th minute of play forced Valette Stars's goalkeeper Adrien Tanneau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafail Rusev made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Rönnöfors FF's Arne Stor. In the 25th minute Per Stenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrien Tanneau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henry Fagerberg scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adrien Tanneau, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valette Stars's Adrien Tanneau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Fagerberg in the 30th minute of play. If Henry Fagerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrien Tanneau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Fagerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The supporters of Valette Stars booed when Rönnöfors FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigvard Biörnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valette Stars's Adrien Tanneau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Tunström in the 44th minute of play. When Per Stenberg came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Rönnöfors FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per Stenberg couldn't finish the play.

Per Tunström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Adrien Tanneau made a huge save. 61 minutes into the match, Valette Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Per Stenberg came free, but Adrien Tanneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrien Tanneau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Per Tunström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adrien Tanneau. The goal made the score 1-2.
