An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Fagerberg in the 15th minute of play forced SSC Ambrosini's goalkeeper Aaron Glanselius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rönnöfors FF's zone, Henrik Möllgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magne Gunnarsson came out of the goal and Henrik Möllgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christer Lundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aaron Glanselius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Stor, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Henrik Möllgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Magne Gunnarsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. SSC Ambrosini's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jan Malm in the 37th minute. If Christer Lundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 48 minutes into the match, Per Stenberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aaron Glanselius. SSC Ambrosini's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per Stenberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Per Stenberg to make the kick off. Aaron Glanselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Stenberg in the 54th minute of the match. Magne Gunnarsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henrik Möllgren went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Magne Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Möllgren in the 59th minute of play. Dylan Draper charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dylan Draper the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rönnöfors FF booed when SSC Ambrosini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dylan Draper didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute Henrik Möllgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Rönnöfors FF getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Per Tunström hit a great ball. Jan Malm, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Magne Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Möllgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute, Per Stenberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aaron Glanselius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henry Fagerberg in the 75th minute. Juhan Kersna kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Marcus Kilman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
